School Governor to be new Bishop of Ramsbury.

An official announcement has been made from Downing Street today that The Queen has approved  Reverend Cannon Edward Condry’s nomination to the Suffragan See of Ramsbury,  in the Diocese of Salisbury.  There will be a service of consecration on Friday 21^st September in Westminster Abbey, and then installation as Bishop in Salisbury Cathedral on Sunday 23^rd in the afternoon.

Reverend Cannon Condry has been a Governor at the school since 2004 but will now be resigning  to move to  Wiltshire to take up his post as Bishop .  Everyone at the Langton offer our thanks for the work he has done for the school and our congratulations on this prestigious appointment.
