With the help of Simon Langton School, the Lockhart family are hosting a fun charity event to raise funds for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) whose mission is to raise awareness of the research they carry out to improve the lives of young people and hopefully find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
JDRF is a charity very close to our hearts since Marley, our 12-year old son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, over two years ago. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/marley-lockhart
JDRF support young people from diagnosis and beyond. Funding is constantly required for the incredible research and work that JDRF carry out. Do visit their website for more information: https://www.jdrf.org/about/.
We hope you will support this very worthy cause and we expect it to be a fun filled day for you and your family.
